Description:

The "Imagining Tomorrow: Society and AI Living Together" essay contest, organized by the Chinese-American Scientists and Engineers Association of Southern California (CESASC), invites K-12 students to envision a future shaped by artificial intelligence.

As AI continues to transform the world around us, this contest provides a unique opportunity for young minds to explore the possibilities, challenges, and innovations that could arise as humans and AI learn to coexist. Students are encouraged to imagine and address important questions such as:

• How will AI enhance or challenge the way we live, learn, and work?
• What ethical responsibilities do humans have in designing AI for the future?
• How can AI contribute to creating a more inclusive, sustainable, and equitable society?
• What would a harmonious partnership between humans and AI look like?

Essays will be judged on originality, depth of thought, creativity, and clarity of expression. This contest celebrates the voices of the next generation, inspiring innovative ideas and meaningful discussions about the role of AI in our shared future.

 

Contest Awards

First Place:  $1,000 scholarship

Second Place:  $500 scholarship

Third Place:  $250 scholarship
